December 2026 dates

Christmas party catering Sydney

December has a fixed number of Fridays and Saturdays, and every workplace, club and family in Sydney wants one. A truck can only be in one place per service, which is why the time to book Christmas party catering is now, in October or early November.

The December 2026 calendar

Three Fridays. That is it.

Christmas Day falls on a Friday in 2026. That leaves three December Fridays for workplace functions, the 4th, 11th and 18th, and the whole region's office parties compete for them.

NSW public school term ends on Thursday 17 December, so school events, presentation days and teacher functions cluster into the fortnight before. Weekends fill with private parties. Caterers do not add capacity for the season, so the good dates go first.

Served on site so nobody has to travel. Mention any invoicing or purchase order requirements when you enquire.

Private and family gatherings

The truck in the driveway and the host out of the kitchen on the one day they would most like to be.

FAQ

Christmas catering: questions, answered

When should I book Christmas party catering?

Now, in October or early November. By late November the prime Fridays and Saturdays are usually gone.

Do you offer a Christmas menu?

No. We serve the same loaded street food menu all year, with no ham, turkey or roast. If you need a traditional Christmas menu, book a traditional caterer.

Do you cater on Christmas Day?

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day are not standard bookings. Contact Nathan on 0477 417 629 or freakeats1@gmail.com with the date and details.

Can you cater an outdoor party in summer heat?

Yes. Position shade over the queue or plan the window for cooler hours, and keep plenty of water on hand.

What if our guest numbers change?

Numbers often move as leave is approved. Ask what happens if your count changes and have the answer written into the booking confirmation.

What does the truck not bring?

Tables, chairs, shade, decorations, entertainment and alcohol are the host's to arrange. Soft drinks are available from the truck.
