Where to find Freak Eats

Most weeks the truck is out at private bookings, where you would only find us if you were on the guest list. A few times a season we set up somewhere anyone can walk up and order. These are those dates.

This month

Three stops, four sessions

Friday knock-off at Happy Brewery

Friday 9 October, 4:00pm to 8:30pm. Come straight from work: four o'clock beats the dinner rush. It is also the last day of the NSW spring school holidays.

A full day in Granville

Saturday 10 October, 10:00am to 5:00pm at Parkour by Kongquest, 9 Junction St, Granville. Seven hours means no need to rush. Lunch is the peak, so late morning or mid-afternoon is quicker.

Weekend return to Happy Brewery

Friday 23 October from 4:00pm to 8:30pm, then Saturday 24 October from midday to 8:30pm, the widest window of the month.

Why breweries

Good beer needs good food.

01

No kitchen, no problem

Most small craft breweries pour great beer but do not run a commercial kitchen.

02

Hot food when it is busiest

A truck outside means patrons stay longer and nobody has to leave to find dinner.

03

Where bookings begin

Plenty of our private catering starts with someone trying a taco at a pop-up.

FAQ

Events and pop-ups: questions, answered

Where can I find Freak Eats this month?

In October 2026 we are at Happy Brewery on Friday 9 October (4:00pm to 8:30pm), Parkour by Kongquest in Granville on Saturday 10 October (10:00am to 5:00pm), and Happy Brewery again on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October.

Can I visit Freak Eats without a booking?

Only at the public dates on this page. Our Hebersham address is an operations kitchen, not a dine-in shopfront.

Is the full menu available at public events?

The line-up may be shorter than our private catering menu, and prices can differ. Items available on the day are displayed at the truck.

Do items sell out?

On busy sessions popular items can sell out before closing. Arriving earlier gives you the best choice.

Can I bring children?

That depends on the host venue. Happy Brewery is a licensed venue, so check their entry policy. The Granville session is family-friendly.

What if the weather is bad?

Plans occasionally change in extreme weather. Check this page on the day before heading out.
