Why it suits a birthday
The truck parks in the driveway, cooks each order as it is placed and leaves with its own rubbish. There is no oven to watch and no washing up on Sunday morning.
A rolling service window copes with the way birthdays really run. Guests arrive late, RSVPs change and people eat at different times, and handheld food means nobody needs a seat at a table.
Different birthdays
Children eat earlier and faster than adults. A shorter, front-loaded window works best, with small tots for the little ones.
Bigger numbers and later nights. Guests who are drinking eat noticeably more, so plan quantities up.
A relaxed 90 to 120 minute window and a menu wide enough for three generations.
Tell us the timing and where to park out of sight. We can be set up before the guest of honour arrives.
Measure width, gradient and overhead clearance. Concrete is simple; a soft lawn after rain is a genuine hazard.
If the truck serves from the kerb, a heads-up to the neighbours goes a long way.

What it costs
Mains only, food only, at $23 per head. Add sides for about $28 per head, or open the whole menu for $30 to $35.
As a guide, mains for 25 guests come to about $575 and for 50 guests about $1,150, plus travel.

No. Food truck hire is a catering booking. Our crew drives the truck to your party, cooks, serves and packs down. We do not rent the truck out for others to operate.
